5.1 speakers

If you want to enjoy all audio experience a 5.1 speakers system can provide, you must first know how to choose the best one. This website will help you to choose the best 5.1 speakers system.
There are many points that act as the deciding factor for which one is the best speaker.

Firstly I will explain what a 5.1 channel speakers system is. The 5.1 speakers (also known as 6-channel surround speakers system) means that you have six speakers.
In a 5.1 channel speakers system the six speakers that are used are the following:
Left Front, Left Rear, Right Front, Right Rear, Center Front and the Subwoofer.
Actually if you buy 5.1 speakers you have five very similar speakers (frequency of 20Hz to 20 kHz.) and one for bass sound (frequency of only 3Hz to 120Hz).

Also you will h5.1 speakersave to think the purpose for which you are buying the speakers. You may require the audio system for normal usage or you may want some high quality performance for the movies or playing games on computer. For average users a 2.1 system might be enough (they cost 30$ to 100$), but if want to use the system for gaming and watching movies and you want awesome sound you should buy 5.1 speakers, which will cost among $30 to $250.

It is great that you can use the 5.1 speakers on Microsoft Xbox, Sony PlayStation2, Nintendo GameCube or you can connect them to your PC, laptop.
However for PC or laptop users, it is required to have 5.1 sound sources to enjoy your 5.1 speakers.

There are many companies which manufacture speakers, but if you want to get the best 5.1 speakers
then you should choose from the following brands: Logitech, Creative, Sony, Genius and Microlab.

Logitech 5.1 speakers

When you have to choose a 5.1 speakers system, you have a lot of choice. However, there are some brands that are much better than the competition in terms of sound quality, and one of those is Logitech. Logitech offers powerful 5.1 surround sound systems for a very reasonable price. If you are looking for great 5.1 speakers, you can be sure that Logitech has them.logitech z5500

A best buy is the Logitech Z-5500 which is the best in it’s category, it’s no question. A few weeks ago I had to buy a new audio system because my old Sharp Stereo died. I have chosen the Logitech Z-5500. I have to tell you that I’m really excited about the Z-5500 surround sound system, so I wrote a really short review for you (Why short you might ask? Because time is money and I don’t want to waste your time :D ).

So lets start:
The Logitech Z-5500 won me over on three fronts: good reviews, pro-audio looks and multiple inputs. After I bought it, I mounted the center channel on a wall and it was an easy job :) . I really liked the powerful subwoofer, which delivers clear sound and provides added excitement to action movies and greater realism to games. However, I can tell you that the Z-5500 is a good buy for music lovers and even for those who don’t have much interest in action gaming, but love music. It is good that the speakers have separate connections in the back, not built into it. After a few weeks of usage, I have to tell you, just as everyone says you simply can’t get better sound for this price and I highly recommend this product. You will love the Z-5500 5.1 speakers. Every aspect of these speakers rock. If you are willing to put up with them you won’t be disappointed.

The power of three Z-5500 subwoofers (505 watts RMS):

Another 5.1 sound system which I highly recommend, if you don’t have enough money to afford the
Z-5500 is the Logitech X-530 5.1 Speaker System.
The X-530 Logitech computer speaker is a cheaper, but also good solution for those who plan to buy a good 5.1 speaker system at a lower price.

Although the systems power is only 70 Watts, the sound power is outstanding. Logitech introduced a new satellite technology into the speakers, which is called FDD2 (Frequency Directed Dual Driver) to bring better and richer sound. The center channel makes dialog remarkably clear and intelligible. It is ideal for gamers, because the speakers are extremely clear. You will love the subwoofer too because the the bass can go from 40HZ to 20kHZ.
For the price you are paying for the X-530 Logitech computer speaker there isn’t anything wrong with these speakers. As a conclusion I have to tell you that these speakers are definitely worth the money.
If you are on low budget and you want clarity and power at a low price this is the way to go, because this 5.1 speakers stands above the rest.

Creative 5.1 speakers – Creative T6100 review

Creative is a worldwide leader in 5.1 speakers for PC. If you’re getting tired of PC 5.1 speakers that deliver “okay” sound, you should check out this review of the Creative Inspire T6100.
The Creative Inspire T6100 is an upgrade of Inspire T6060 model. The package consists of 1 Central Speaker, 2 Front Speakers, 2 Rear Speakers and the subwoofers. The total power of the system is 76 Watts (RMS). T6100 boasts of an engaging audio experience while gaming and watching movies.

Bass is very powerful with some serious punch, but also with very high tolerance for distortions.
They can also survive vt6100ery high volume levels without any kind of distortions, most likely thanks to Bass redirection that keeps low freq. sounds off from reaching satelitte speakers that are generally meant for mid and high freq. and are not doing too well with low freq. The sound is very important in games, so I tested the 5.1 speakers out in a few games. The 5.1 setup added a lot of in-game depth and allowed greater perception of where sounds (and thus targets/events) were coming from (games I tested: Doom 3, Spore, C&C Red Alert 3).

My opinion is that the Inspire T6100 is a great 5.1 speaker system for a relatively cheap price. The speakers have nice design that fits perfectly on pretty much any desk. The only annoying thing is that the system doesn’t have any remote control. Overall I’m happy with the 5.1 speakers and I can only recommend them.

You just plug a USB cable from your subwoofer into your PC or laptop and get 6 discrete channels of audio. The FX5051 has dual device drivers in every satellite, plus a subwoofaltec_fx5051er that gives awesome bass. The design is really great. The ideal complement to your flat-panel displays. Satellites feature removable bases for simple wall mounting. The 5.1 speaker system includes a wireless remote. The remote works great, you can control the rear, center, or overall sound level or to adjust the bass and treble.
The surround systems power is 89W (RMS). 89w are enough even for making a party in a 30-50 sq.meter. room. The fidelity of the sound is impressive. Isobaric-configured dual 6.5″ woofers deliver bass corresponding to systems twice as large.
